“Fear of God is the Beginning of Wisdom” is the motto of the school. St.Mary’s Public School was started in 2006 by the St.Mary’s Jacobite Syrian Cathedral. It is managed by the St.Mary’s Charitable Trust, Kuruppampady.
St.Mary’s Public School, Kuruppampady is a minority educational institution affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. It is specially meant to cater to the needs of Jacobite Syrian students. However, it is also open to other students irrespective of caste, creed or religion. SMPS is in its developmental stage striving hard to excel in academic and co-curricular activities. Optional subjects like Roller Skating, Karate, Yoga, Instrumental Music, Music, Stitching and Art & Craft are provided. Other facilities are Library, separate Science Labs, Maths Lab, Computer-cum-Language Lab, Smart Classes etc.,
